South Africa defeated West Indies by massive 257 runs
In the 19th match of ongoing ICC World Cup , South Africa played against West Indies in Sydney.
Batting first , South Africa scored huge total of 408 runs in 50 overs loosing 5 wickets where AB de Villiers scored the man of the match innings of 162 runs in just 103 balls. Hasim Amla scored 65 runs, Faf du Plessis scored 62 runs and Rilee Roosouw contributed 61 runs to their side.
Replying to the target , West Indies lost all its wickets in 33rd over scoring just 151 runs , No batsmen from their side performed well except , Jason Holder's 56 runs innings. In the South African Bowling department , Imran Tahir took 5 wickets , 2 wickets each for Morne Morkel and Kyle Abbott and a wicket for Dale Steyn.
