New Zealand and Australia Secures win in opening day in ICC World Cup 2015

New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 98 runs which was played in Christchurch , Australia.
Batting first New Zealand scored massive 331 runs loosing 6 wickets in 50 overs in which most of their batsmen performed pretty well  , Corey Anderson scores 75 runs and Kane Williamson scores 57 runs to help New Zealand to get that much score. In the Sri lankan bowling department , Jeevan Mendis and Suranga Lakmal  took 2 wickets each and a wicket each for Kulasekara and Herath.

Chasing the target , Sri lanka lost all of their wickets in 46th over scoring 233 runs. Thirimanne scored 65 and Angelo Mathews scored 46 runs for Sri Lanka which was not enough to beat the New Zealand's target.  5 Bowlers of New Zealand took 2 wickets each.

Australia vs England

Meanwhile , Australia defeated England by 111 runs. Batting first , Australia scored 342 runs loosing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Aaron Finch score 135 runs for Australia and two half centuries for Bailey(55 runs) and Maxwell(66 runs) helped to create the target for Australia. Steven Finn took 5 wickets , 2 wickets for Stuart Broad and a wicket for Woakes for England.

England scored 231 runs loosing all wickets in 41.5 overs. James Taylor plays not out 98 runs innings in the batting department of England.  Australia performs pretty well in bowling side too , Mitchell Marsh took 5 wickets and 2 wickets each for Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc.
